Handling, Storage, Packaging,
Preservation and Delivery
For specific requirements in relation to particular products, instructions shall be prepared to control any critical
requirements. These requirements will be determined by process and other relevant factors. Adequate designated storage
areas and protective measures shall be provided to prevent damage or deterioration of product pending further delivery.
In order to detect and prevent deterioration, the condition of stored items and materials shall be assessed at regular
periods. Prior to delivery of any product, the handling, transport, packing and marking requirements shall be determined
by the responsible Manager in accordance with specified requirements and approved instructions. The packing and
accompanying delivery documentation shall clearly identify the finished products and their destination.
Internal Quality Audits
DTH Engineering & Consultants Pty Ltd Quality Assurance System is progressively and systematically reviewed and audited
(as required by AS 9001: 1994 for compliance with planned arrangements and effectiveness of the quality systems) The
Quality Assurance Manager or delegated personnel suitably trained for auditing, shall be responsible for auditing as part
of the internal audit schedule.
Reports of audits conducted shall be compiled and presented to the responsible Manager, with a copy to the Quality
Assurance & Safety Manager. The reports will include specific reference to Corrective Action Requests raised which in
turn will detail corrective and preventive measures and timing of such measures for the deficiencies found by the audit.
