DTH Engineering & Consultants Pty Ltd Safety and Environmental Management Plan is regularly reviewed against changing Legislation, site requirements and evolving work practices to ensure we are keeping informed and current. Effective objectives and targets are set and reviewed for all employees, contractors and Managers.
DTH Engineering & Consultants WHSE objectives embrace:
Complying with statutory requirements as a minimum and determined to achieve best practice standards in everything we do
- Develop a plan for every stage of the work to ensure hazards are controlled effectively, all equipment and tools are at hand and everyone is aware of the execution of the plan.
- Work from established Work Instructions or team-based Risk Assessments to meet or exceed client standards
- Hold regular Toolbox Meetings to allow for consultation and communication within the work groups and foster supportive and trusting information flow
- Provide personnel with training and awareness of their responsibilities
- Manage a return-to-work plan and rehabilitation when required, for injury and illness, in and out of work hours
- Insist on Duty of Care and Safe Work activities as a condition of employment
- Encourage the use of the Stop Work Authority for work activities without consequence
